These spots in Zanzibar are known for wing foiling. Each has its own character and conditions.
The main kite spot. Huge flat lagoon at low tide, choppy at high tide. Side-shore SE wind. Dozens of kite schools.
South of Paje. Quieter, similar conditions. Low tide creates a shallow sandbar playground.
A 5m wing and a stable foil board for the consistent 15–22 knot trades. Warm water and a sandy bottom make crashes forgiving.
